Since 2001, Kerry Graves, CCTP, MSW, LCSWA, PhD has worked in the field and academia of child abuse and neglect.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • I am a current mental health provider for children, teens, and adults and have been active since 2006.
  • I am currently an Abolition NC Curriculum Reviewer (fighting human trafficking).
  • I have investigated child abuse and neglect for over 18 years of work in the field, and have provided mental health therapy to victims of abuse.
  • For nearly a decade, I've worked as a mental health therapist with individuals, including those who showed symptoms of psychological disturbances in the criminal realm.
  • I have served as a Clinical Instructor with the Jordan Institute (Family and Children's Resource Program) where I have taught Social Workers and Law Enforcement professionals how to investigate sexual abuse, the signs and symptoms of sexual abuse, and many other courses.
  • I have written and co-written State manuals on child welfare.
  • I was the Child Welfare Education Collaborative Coordinator for N.C. State University, where he ran the Child Welfare Education program, recruited students on the BSW and MSW level, and advised BSW and MSW students.
